Who is Clement of Rome?

Do you want to be like the early Church? Then you should read Clement of Rome. Clement is the earliest writer we have after the New Testament closed. He was one of the first Church leaders in Rome and wrote a letter to the Corinthians encouraging them to live in peace and unity with one another. Back then, just like now, some Christians were jealous of one another and fighting over authority and power. Clement urges the problem makers to drop the conflict and live as people who will be judged at the return of Jesus. As Clement teaches, God rewards those who fear him and live holy, humble and loving lives with pure minds. But, just as he saves, he judges as well. Therefore, we should be ready for the day when Christ returns by dropping our fists and opening our hands in prayer.
